The INOVEM Innovation Center and the National School of Furniture and Woodworking are looking for solutions for the treatment of wastewater related to woodworking, particularly the washing water of application tools and paint spraying systems. NISKAE solutions meet the growing needs of the woodworking industry in Quebec. During a visit to the Victoriaville Cegep, several beaker tests were conducted on three samples mainly loaded with pigments and lacquers. A small amount of a single coagulant-flocculant reagent was needed. After filtration, the sludge was non-sticky and easily dehydratable while the filtrate was clear and transparent. INOVEM and NISKAE wish to collaborate as a force of proposals with Quebec industries to accompany them in their transition to water-based products.
